Benefits
By now a lot of you may know the benefits of Tallow already. People claim to have amazing experiences where it has cleared their skin up completely from eczema or acne.
It's no secret that Tallow is rich in vitamins and other fat-soluble nutrients. It also forms a protective barrier on the skin when applied with very low comedogenic (pore-blocking) effect.
Tallow sounds amazingingly beneficial right?
So Why Hazelnuts?
Like all things, we all fall short of perfect. Pure tallow can be rock-hard in cold temperatures, and to the un-initiated.. the smell can be a little strong.
We use pressed Hazelnuts to make our Heritage Balms easily spreadable and thanks to the high percent of oleic acid, the benefits of Tallow are absorbed quicker and deeper into the skin, reducing the greasy feeling of pure tallow on your palms and fingers.
Hazelnuts are also naturally rich in Vitamin E and contain tannins that can give a smoother skin texture
What makes our balm "Heritage"?
We choose to make our balms as holistic and Australian as possible.
We use Australian grown ingredients to give you the calming, nostalgic feeling of Grandma's house, with lavender growing in the front yard, nut or fruit trees growing in the backyard and the delicious smell of vanilla muffins in the kitchen.
Get the Benefits
From our tins, apply a pea-sized amount to damp or fresh skin and let the warmth of your fingers melt the balm. It glides on creamy and absorbs to leave behind a natural glow, suppleness, and a soft “second-skin” feel.
Our lip balms apply as any other lip balm would, leaving a protective barrier you can sense on your lips, with no foul tastes from toxic chemicals.
